Jim McLane is a former Real Estate Sales Agent and current Real Estate Broker.  He was licensed for 5 years in the mid 1980′€™s, when he acted as the Office Manager for Jackson Real Estate, but let his license lapse when he joined the Trust Department of a local regional bank.  In January 2006, Jim reactivated his Sales License, and after completing the educational and experiential requirements, he passed his Broker’€™s Exam in 2010.

Now he is the Broker of Record of Jackson Real Estate, specializing in Recreational Properties and Investment Real Estate.  As a former and current real estate investor, Jim knows all-too-well that there is much more to buying a property than €œit looks pretty€.

As a cabin owner (40 Acres Camp, near Cross Fork, PA), Jim knows and loves the get-a-way provided by having a cabin with no telephone, no internet and no cell service.  The peace and solitude of a weekend spent at camp is more resting and relaxing than time spent at a 5-star resort.
